AGI, not PR AGI, is not possible, at least in next years. But text, vision, multi-modal foundation models make it easy to develop AI/ML based applications using domain knowledge to tailor llm to act as classifier, entity extractor, relation extraction,object detection And recognition, ocr ….. before that, you need to build different models to handle each task. It is impossible for small companies. Now any company can leverage them and domain knowledge to solve their real business problems. What you need is to how to use the tool and how to formulate your problem. Agentic is not new. If you clearly understand your business processing flow, you can divide and conquer using foundation models. Some jobs maybe replaced by ai, but new opportunities will created. Don’t believe shit pr. AI already adopted in industry long long ago. But today a new tool built because of large data and computation available.
